Actor Vicky said that this is the first time he has danced so much on screen. The song is written by Vayu and composed by music duo Sachin-Jigar. Talking about the song, Vicky said, “To be honest, this is the first time I am dancing so much on screen. I really enjoyed exploring this side of me and trust me, Bijli is just one Jhalak Hai. Fans will see my dance in this film. It was fun sharing the dance floor with Kiara, she is an amazing co-star and a great dancer herself.”
Kiara said that this is the first time she has shot for such a masala song. She said “I have never been seen in such an avatar before. I loved my Kolhapuri look for Bijli. Master Ganesh choreographed me in this song which was my dream, he presented me and danced for me. Choreographed in a way that will be amazing for my audience.”

Singer Mika Singh said that he is happy to sing this beautiful dance number. Neha Kakkar also shared her experience saying that whenever she sings ‘Bijli’, she cannot stop herself from dancing to its beats. Composer duo Sachin-Jigar shared their experience with the song, “We hope Bijli will be a favorite song in your playlist. Sticking to the theme, we have infused Maharashtrian desi beats into the song.”
The film is produced by Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions and directed by Shashank Khaitan. Earlier he has also directed films like Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania and Dhadak. Govinda Mera Naam is going to release on December 16 on Disney Plus Hotstar. This is Vicky Kaushal’s second film to be released on OTT after Sardar Udham.
