Govinda Wife On Dressing After Marriage: It has been 40 years since the marriage of Bollywood’s Govinda and Sunita. Govinda and Sunita got married after dating each other for three years. Sunita has recently revealed that the couple kept their marriage a secret for a year. Sunita also told that after marriage she was not allowed to wear short clothes.
In a recent interview with Timeout with Ankita, Sunita talked about her marriage with Govinda. She said, ‘I got married when I was 18-19 years old. We got married very early because his mother was getting old and Govinda was the last son. She wanted to see him get married and have children.’
‘If heroines come wearing short clothes then it will work…’
Sunita further told that after marriage, Govinda refused to let her wear short clothes. She says- ‘I started wearing sarees with mini skirts. That is why my husband hated me. I used to tell him that I am from Bandra, you are from Virar boss. If heroines come to the film industry wearing short clothes, it is okay but if the wife wears it, it is not okay. He used to react to this and say that my mother will not like it.’
Sunita remained with Govinda in good and bad days
Talking about her married life with Govinda, Sunita says, ‘If there is anyone other than his mother whom he loves, it is me. I have been with him even before he became a megastar. I have been with him in good and bad days. It has to be like that. There must be a reason why we stayed together for 40 years, otherwise when do you hear of such long-lasting relationships these days?’
