Grow tomato and brinjal on potato plant
According to media reports, farmer Parvindra Singh, a resident of Hamirpur in Himachal Pradesh, has done this feat through grafting. He has grown tomato and brinjal crop on potato plant through grafting. He says that this technique is effective for producing more vegetables in less space. People can get good yield by growing such crops in pots at home. Tomato and brinjal have also started coming on potato plant in one and half month.

Giving training to other farmers
Farmer Parvinder Singh told that potato was grown one and a half month back. When the yield of potato was correct, tomato was produced through grafting. Similarly brinjal was grown. Parvindra was happy to see the good yield of three crops on the same plant. Now he has started training other people as well. Others are also contacting him for this. He says that a nursery will be prepared soon. With this, such crops can be produced at one place only.

Growing many types of plants on one plant is called grafting technique. In this the tissue of one plant is inserted into the tissue of another plant. If more plants are to be planted on a single plant, then the same process is adopted. With this technique many types of plants are grown on one plant. In this technique, plants are prepared by asexual reproduction.
