In view of the improvement in air quality, the Air Quality Management Commission has removed Group 3 restrictions from Delhi-NCR. With the lifting of the Group 3 ban, the ban on BS-3 petrol and BS-4 diesel vehicles in Delhi and surrounding areas has also been lifted. Now these vehicles will be able to move without stopping. There will also be relaxation in construction related works.

Amid improvement in Delhi’s air quality, ban on non-essential construction as well as operation of BS-III and IV vehicles has been removed. Grape phase three was a complete ban on construction and demolition work except essential government projects, mining and stone breaking. The ban included BS III petrol and BS IV diesel vehicles.

According to the Indian Institute of Tropical Meteorology (IITM), on Thursday the winds blew from south-east to north-west direction. During this period the wind speed was 4 to 6 kilometers per hour. On Friday, winds are expected to blow from west to north-west direction. During this period the wind speed is expected to be 6 kilometers per hour. At the same time, there is a possibility of fog and mist in the morning. In such a situation, the air will remain in very poor category. On Saturday the winds will blow from the north-west direction. During this period the wind speed is expected to be 4 to 10 kilometers per hour. The wind is likely to blow from the north-west direction on Sunday. During this period the wind speed is expected to be 4 to 12 kilometers per hour.
