Team India in World Junior Wushu Championship: India showed a wonderful game in the recently concluded 8th World Junior Wushu Championship in Indonesia. In this championship, the Indian team captured 8 medals including 3 gold. India got 3 gold, 3 silver and 2 bronze medals in the Wushu Championship.

India has created history with 8 medals in the World Junior Wushu Championship. Team India got only 1 medal in the 6th World Junior Wushu Championship in Bulgaria in the year 2015. Now the Indian players have shown amazing performance within 7 years and the young players of the team have won 8 medals.

Aryan and Dhruv opened medal account
In the Junior Wushu Championship, Haryana players Aryan and Dhruv opened Team India’s medal tally by winning gold medals. Aryan, a resident of Samalkha in Panipat, won gold in the boys’ sub-junior 42 kg weight category by defeating Egypt’s Omar Mohammad Fathi 2-1. On the other hand, Dhruv of Sonepat won the gold medal by defeating Yousuf Yehla Shahat Ahmed of Egypt 2-0 in the boys’ sub-junior 52 kg category.

Wushu Sangh congratulated the players
Indian Wushu Association President Bhupendra Singh Bajwa, General Secretary Jatinder Singh and CEO Suhail Ahmed have congratulated all the players of Team India after this historic victory of Team India.
