Usually guavas start coming on the trees in a year. Gardeners get a monthly income of Rs 1 to 1.5 lakh from guavas. If there is good production, sometimes the income reaches 3 to 4 lakh rupees. This time the effect of cold is being seen on guavas. Due to cold, fungus and fruit fly kit has been installed in guava fruit. Due to this, the production has declined by 30 percent.
