There is a shop named Jhakkas Bhejpuri and Dhokla in Muzaffarpur’s Mithanpura Park Road. Dhokla of Arun Kumar, who runs this shop, is becoming popular all over Muzaffarpur. Arun says that Dhokla is basically Gujarat’s breakfast, but people in Bihar have also tasted it. Even the Prime Minister of the country likes to eat Dhokla. Dhokla has become more popular after Narendra Modi became the Prime Minister.
Dhokla sells 80 to 100 plates daily
Arun Kumar told that before setting up Dhokla shop in Muzaffarpur, he used to work in Dhokla and Bhelpuri shop in Jamshedpur. From there, when Muzaffarpur came to his home district, a thought came in my mind that why not open a Dhokla shop in Muzaffarpur as well. In this way he put his cart in Mithanpura Park Road. Apart from Dholka, they also sell Batata Puri and Bhelpuri in their cart. Arun Kumar told that 80 to 100 plates of Dhokla are being sold daily. Presenting Dhokla in a new style, sweet and sour chutney is also used. Dhokla is sold at the shop for Rs.30 per plate. Those fond of eating Dhokla reach his shop from far and wide.

Talking to Local 18, Arun told that Dhokla is also good for health. Oil is not used in making it. Along with this, it is also very beneficial in digestion. In this case it can be called a light breakfast. Dhokla lover gets health benefits by eating Dhokla. Arun tells that he also makes Dhokla chaat at his shop. Generally people prefer to eat chaat of Dhokla more than eating plain Dhokla.
