Worship of Lakshmi-Narayan also has importance
In Guru-Pushya Yoga, worship of Goddess Lakshmi and Lord Vishnu is considered to have special significance. On this day, there is a tradition of offering kheer, milk sweets to Goddess Lakshmi and Tulsi Dal, Panchamrit, jaggery etc. to Lord Vishnu. Kanakdhara Stotra should be recited.
