Gurugram News: A shocking case has come to light in Gurugram, Haryana, where a man pulled a woman out of her car and slapped her for allegedly honking during a traffic jam. The police gave this information on Thursday. Police said that this incident of road rage happened on Wednesday morning at MDI Chowk.

The woman filed a complaint

The woman has lodged a complaint with the police regarding the matter. The victim woman said in her complaint to the police that as soon as the jam was cleared, the accused man overtook her near MDI Chowk and stopped his car in front of her and then took her out of his car and slapped her one after the other.

The accused threatened to kill the woman

The victim woman said in her complaint that the man also threatened to kill her and said that he would come to her house and kill her again. The woman said that seeing a crowd of people gathering on the spot, the man ran away. The victim further said that in this incident, there were injuries on her left eye, nose and she had to go to the hospital for treatment. Regarding the whole matter, the police said that on the complaint of the woman, sections 323 (causing hurt), 506 (criminal intimidation) and 509 (outraging the modesty of a woman) of the IPC were registered against the unknown accused at the Sector 18 police station on Wednesday night. A case has been registered under IPC (insulting).

Police engaged in investigation of the case

SHO Inspector Harish Kumar of Sector 18 police station said that efforts are on to identify the accused on the basis of CCTV footage and the registration number of the car provided by the woman. He told that the woman is working in a financial firm and has suffered injuries on her nose, ear and face.
