The purpose behind this is to transfer a large amount of defrauded money in one go to current accounts and then transfer the amount in small installments to 50-100 accounts at a time. This is being used to transfer the defrauded money from one place to another as well as to convert black money into white.

Fraud in the name of investment in the share market (insider trading) is the most trending cyber fraud these days. In this fraud, Dinesh Sharma of Harduaganj Ahirpada was cheated of Rs 35 lakh in March. While investigating this, the Cyber ​​Thana Police arrested Ravindra Rathore alias Bunty of Agra. He had provided his bank account to the fraudsters. In-depth investigation has revealed that cyber hackers are using Indian accounts from abroad as well. Accounts here are being used even from China and Hong Kong.

For this, they connect with people on online current account provider applications, account agents, Facebook pages, Telegram profiles, WhatsApp groups etc., then lure them and tell them that they will be given commission in exchange for using their current account. For this, they make people open a sole proprietorship current account in the name of the firm without GST registration. They link that account to e-banking.
