Hamas Chief Yahya Sinwar killed in Israeli attack? IDF’s big claim

Yahya Sinwar Killing News: Israel is wreaking havoc on its enemies. After killing the Hezbollah chief, Israel said on Thursday (October 17) that during the IDF operation in Gaza, three Hamas fighters were killed, in which Hamas Chief Yahya Sinwar was also included. This was confirmed by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

News agency ANI quoted Times of Israel as saying that Netanyahu instructed his associates to inform the families of Israeli hostages that Hamas Chief Yahya Sinwar has been killed.

Earlier the Israeli army was identifying the killed terrorists. On the social media platform X (formerly Twitter), the IDF said, “3 terrorists were killed during the IDF operation in Gaza. The IDF and ISA are investigating the possibility that one of the terrorists was Yahya Sinwar. The identity of the terrorists cannot be confirmed at this time. There were no signs of the presence of hostages in the building where the terrorists were killed. “The forces operating in the area continue to operate with necessary precautions.”

Hamas did not confirm

On the other hand, there was no immediate comment from Hamas either. Al-Majd, a Hamas-linked website that usually publishes about security issues, urged Palestinians to wait for information about Sinwar from the group itself.

What did Israel say?

Israel’s Army Radio said the incident occurred during a ground operation in the city of Rafah in the southern Gaza Strip, in which Israeli troops killed three militants and took away their bodies. Visual evidence suggests that one of the men was Sinwar and DNA tests are being conducted. Israel has DNA samples of Sinwar from his time spent in Israeli prison.

Why Yahya Sinwar on Israel’s target?

In fact, on October 7 last year, on the orders of Yahya Sinwar, Hamas fighters entered Israel and carried out a massacre. Girls were raped after entering the concert, innocent children were killed and women were dragged and brutalized. He took many girls with him. Even the elderly were not spared.
