Neither training nor security for workers

Tamil Nadu ranks first in the country in firecracker manufacturing. From here 80 percent of firecrackers are supplied in the country and abroad. A survey report shows that 92 percent of the workers working in firecracker factories are not given training in making firecrackers. Whereas 97 percent laborers do not even get facilities like security kit. This is the situation when India earns more than Rs 10 thousand crore from the firecracker market.
