A father who murdered his daughter by beheading her with an ax about four years ago has been sentenced to life imprisonment. Additional District Judge Court No. 3 Achhelal Saroj has also imposed a fine of Rs 20 thousand. Chowkidar Usman, resident of Chathiya village of Majhila police station area, had lodged the report on March 3, 2021. It was told that at 5 pm on March 3, 2021, information was received that Sarvesh, resident of Pandeyatara village, had murdered his daughter Neelam (18) by slitting her throat. When he reached Pandeytara, he saw that Sarvesh was going towards the road carrying Neelam’s severed head in his hand.

When information was given to the police station through mobile phone, the police reached the spot and took Sarvesh into custody. The police had reached Sarvesh’s house with the severed head. Neelam’s torso was found lying in a room here. During investigation, it was revealed that Sarvesh had seen Neelam in an objectionable situation with a young man two days before the incident.

Due to this, Sarvesh was angry and in anger he severed Neelam’s head with an axe. Six witnesses were presented by the prosecution during the hearing of the entire case. After completing the hearing, Additional District Judge Achhelal Saroj has pronounced the sentence.
