The man accused of money fraud
Sapna was accused of financial fraud by a person named Pawan Chawla. Pawan Chawla filed an FIR against the dancer and singer with Delhi Police in the year 2021. Pawan had told in the complaint that Sapna Choudhary had cheated him of money.
Accused of taking money from Pawan on the pretext of business
Pawan Chawla had revealed in a complaint lodged with Delhi Police that Sapna had taken money from him on the pretext of business. However, Sapna is accused of using that money for other purposes instead of business.
In this case, Delhi’s Tis Hazari Court had summoned the singer keeping in mind the crime under Section 420 and Section 406 of IPC. However, despite this, Sapna did not appear in the court.
