Harsh Chhaya talked about Shefali Shah: Actress Shefali Shah is married to filmmaker Vipul Amrutal Shah. Shefali has two sons from him, Aryaman and Maurya Shah. But before marrying Vipul, actress Shefali had married actor Harsh Chhaya many years ago. Harsh and Shefali separated after 6 years of marriage. Both have spoken openly about their separation and described it as a ‘challenging time’.
In an interview given to Siddharth Kanan, Harsh Chhaya has openly talked about the breakup of her relationship. He told how difficult that time was, how painful it was and how he came out of it. All this happened 20-25 years ago but now both have moved ahead in their lives.
What did Harsh Chhaya say on the breakup of his marriage with Shefali Shah?
While talking to Siddharth Kanan, Harsh said, ‘This is an old story. It’s been 20 to 25 years. This is a closed chapter for me. We were not friends. I had no problem in talking to him, so we moved ahead. I couldn’t be comfortable. Harsh also added that he was married to Shefali in the year 1994.
Harsh further said, ‘It was painful. This separation did not happen suddenly for me. I saw it coming and the problems were going on for about 8 months. I observed a lot. I saw it in two ways, one was the love part and the other was the marriage part and both the parts were separated. There was neither love nor marriage was being saved.
Harsh accepted that he was very upset in those days and did not even feel like working. It was a very difficult time for him. The actor also said that it took him about 6 months to come out of this divorce but he came out of it.
If we talk about Shefali Shah’s part, she said the same thing in interviews at different places. According to Times of India, Shefali Shah gave the only reason for the breakup of her marriage that she did not work and we could not live together. Today, many years have passed since the divorce of Shefali and Harsh and they have progressed a lot in their respective lives.
