Haryana Assembly Elections 2024: In view of the Haryana assembly elections, political preparations are in full swing in the state. Meanwhile, BJP released the first list of 67 candidates on Wednesday (September 4). In this list of candidates released by BJP, 30 percent new faces have been given a chance. Along with this, BJP has also made candidates from the families of many powerful leaders of the state.

BJP has taken full care of the caste equation in the first list of candidates for Haryana. The party has tried to keep all the political equations in mind to gain power for the third consecutive time in the state. BJP has also cut the tickets of 9 MLAs in this first list.

How many candidates from which caste?

In the first list of candidates, the Bharatiya Janata Party has given tickets to 11 candidates each from Jat and OBC communities. Along with this, 9 candidates each from Brahmin and Punjabi communities have been given tickets. 8 women have been declared candidates in this list. The party has given tickets to 5 candidates from Vaishya community, 2 from Rajput community and 2 from Bishnoi community.

Many surprising names in the list

Many surprising names have also come up in this list. The party has cut the ticket of Sitaram Yadav from Ateli City and given the ticket to Aarti Rao, daughter of Union Minister Rao Indrajit Singh. BJP has fielded Kabaddi star player Deepak Hooda from Meham seat. At the same time, the party has also fielded current Rajya Sabha MP Krishna Lal Pawar from Israna (reserved) seat of Haryana. BJP has fielded PM Modi from Rohtak seat. Narendra Modi Arvind Sharma, who is considered a close leader of BJP, has been given ticket. He became MP from Rohtak in 2019 by defeating Deepender Singh Hooda. BJP changed 13 tickets in its first list.

CM Naib Singh Saini, who was till now an MLA from Karnal seat, will now contest from Ladwa seat. The current MLA of Ladwa seat is Congress’ Meva Singh, so the fight on this seat is expected to be interesting.

In the first list of BJP, Deepak Mangala from Palwal, Vishambar Valmiki from Bawani Khera, Narendra Gupta from Faridabad, Sudhir Singla from Gurugram, State Minister Sanjay Singh from Sohna, Cabinet Minister Ranjit Chautala from Rania, Sitaram Yadav from Atel, former minister Sandeep Singh from Pehwa, State Minister Sanjay Singh from Sohna and Laxman Napa from Ratia have been denied tickets.
