Due to hailstorm and heavy rains in Tehsil Sasni area, more than 33 percent crop loss has been assessed in 20 villages. Regarding this, a report is being prepared by the Agriculture Department and the Revenue Department to give compensation to the farmers. This report will be sent to the government.

Potato, mustard, barley and mustard crops have been ruined due to hailstorm and rain in the past days. The survey of the crop damaged due to unseasonal rains is being conducted on the instructions of the government, so that the farmers can be compensated for the crop loss. Tehsil bar teams have been formed by the administration regarding this. This team is inspecting the affected areas.

District Agriculture Officer RK Singh said that teams in all tehsils are assessing crop damage. Hailstorm in Sasni region has caused heavy damage to crops in 20 villages. More than 33 per cent crop loss has been assessed in these villages. On this basis, a report on the status of damage is being prepared and sent to the government.
