What are the ingredients required to make Dahi Kebab?
-1.5 cups curd
-4-5 tbsp gram flour
-2 tbsp finely chopped onion
-Half teaspoon finely chopped ginger
-Half teaspoon finely chopped green chilli
-1 tablespoon finely chopped coriander leaves
-Half teaspoon cumin powder
-half teaspoon garam masala
-One-fourth teaspoon black pepper powder
-Salt as required
-2 tbsp oil
How to make Dahi Kebab
-To make Dahi Kebab, first prepare hung curd.
-For this, place a strainer on a bowl and then spread muslin or cotton handkerchief on that strainer or sieve.
-Now pour fresh cold curd on it.
-Note that curd should be thick and creamy.
-Now bring the edges of the muslin together and tie it tightly.
-Place a heavy weight on the tied muslin.
-Excess water from the curd will drain out and the curd will be ready for kebabs.
-Now take out the hung curd in a mixing bowl.
How to prepare kebab
-For this take a heavy pan.
-Add gram flour in it and fry it on low flame while stirring continuously.
-Keep in mind that it is important to fry the gram flour well, so that after frying the kebab, you do not get the raw taste of the gram flour. But do not overcook it either.
-Now add finely chopped onion, ginger, green chilli and green coriander to hung curd and mix. Also, add cumin powder, garam masala powder, roasted gram flour and black pepper powder and mix.
-Mix well with the help of a whisk so that no small lumps of gram flour remain.
-Now cover the bowl and keep it in the refrigerator for 1 to 2 hours.
-Now to make Dahi Kebab, heat 2 tablespoons oil in a pan.
-Now apply some water on both your palms and take some kebab mixture and give it a flat shape.
-Put dahi kebab in hot oil. Keep low or medium-low flame.
-Prepare kebabs from the entire mixture in the same manner.
-Fry it from both sides until it turns golden brown.
Sprinkle chaat masala on kebabs.
-After this, put hung curd in kebab and serve it.
