The person who won the first prize of Rs 75 lakh of Kerala Lottery three months ago died in a road accident. 75 year old M.C. Yakub, who was a resident of Ezhipramanayath in Kadayiruppa, was seriously injured in a motorcycle accident and was undergoing treatment.

The accident took place on Monday in Moosharipar near Kolancheri. At 6 pm, Yakub, who was coming towards Musharipar, while turning on the road, collided with a motorcycle coming from the opposite direction. Seriously injured Yakub was admitted to Kolancherry Medical College Hospital, but he died around 5 pm yesterday.
