Moderate Asthma: In this stage (Moderate Persistent Asthma), the symptoms of asthma can be felt continuously. Due to which one may have to stay awake all night. Sleep may be disturbed. This completely affects the lifestyle. In this stage, the capacity of the lungs can be up to 60-80%. In this, an inhaler is needed daily.

Severe Persistent Asthma: This is the most severe stage of asthma (Severe Persistent Asthma). In this, asthma attacks can occur repeatedly. Coughing all night can disturb sleep. In this stage, the lung capacity can be 60 percent or even less. Inhalers are required regularly.
