Hearing will be held on January 18 on the anticipatory bail application of the then SO Jitendra Singh, the absconding accused in the Bodla land scam case in Tajnagari Agra. On Tuesday, the police had reached the court to issue non-bailable warrant against the accused SO, builder Kamal Chaudhary and Dhiru Chaudhary, who are wanted in the robbery. The matter of issuing non-bailable warrant was postponed till the hearing on the anticipatory bail application.
To get possession of the valuable land on Jagadishpura-Bodla road, the police had sent 5 innocent people to jail by filing a fake case in August and September 2023. Ravi Kushwaha, his brother Shankaria and Omprakash were arrested for selling ganja. A case was registered against Ravi Kushwaha’s wife Poonam and sister Pushpa for selling adulterated liquor. The victims complained about the matter to the DGP after being released from jail. The investigation revealed the police’s game of filing fake cases. The bullies had destroyed all the household items of the victim’s family.
On the instructions of the Police Commissioner, a case of robbery was registered on January 8 against the then SO of Jagdishpura Jitendra Singh, builder Kamal Chaudhary, Dhiru Chaudhary and 18 unknown people. The three main accused are absconding. In the investigation, the names of Purushottam Pehalwan and Amit Aggarwal have been revealed and they have been made accused. Police has sent Amit Aggarwal to jail.
Hearing date fixed for January 18
The anticipatory bail application of the then SO Jitendra Singh was presented in the Sessions Court through his advocate. The District Judge transferred the application to the court of Additional District Judge Mahendra Kumar for hearing. The court has fixed the hearing date on January 18. On the same date, the bail plea of jailed Amit Aggarwal will also be heard. On Tuesday, the police had given an application in the court to issue non-bailable warrant against the absconding accused.
