Heart Disease Risk Today Young Generation Is Suffering From This Serious Heart Disease Revealed In The Study

Cardiovascular Disease Risk: Whether it is job tension or relationship, today’s young generation is worried about many things. It has been revealed in the study that the heart health of people who live in high tension can deteriorate quickly. According to a Johns Hopkins Medicine study, young people who feel more depressed are more likely to develop heart disease. The findings came after researchers analyzed data from more than half a million people between the ages of 18 and 49. When you are stressed, anxious or depressed, you may feel very bad, and your heart rate may increase.

Today’s young generation is struggling with this serious heart disease.

It’s also common that feeling depressed can lead to poor lifestyle choices like smoking, drinking, sleeping less and not being physically active – all adverse conditions that negatively affect your heart. The researchers looked at data from 593,616 Young Generation – a self-reported, nationally representative search conducted between 2017 and 2020. In this search, the participants were asked questions on how many days in the past month they experienced poor mental health, whether they had experienced a heart attack, stroke or chest pain.

revealed in the study

Researchers found that people who felt sad for several days had a higher risk of heart disease and poorer heart health. Participants who reported 13 poor mental health days were 1.5 times more likely to develop heart disease, noting that it’s important to take care of both your heart and your mental health. The relationship between depression and heart disease is a two-way street. Depression increases your heart risk, and people with heart disease experience depression.
