In Deoria district, the temperature has remained at 42-43 degree for the last about 10 days. Due to this the heat has become deadly. In the last 24 hours, 53 people including the only son of the BJP leader have died. Doctors say that heat stroke patients have increased due to the scorching heat. Because of this, more people are dying. The CMO has advised people not to step out of the house in the afternoon.

According to information, 35 people were brought dead in the emergency of the Medical College from 5 pm on Saturday to 5 pm on Sunday, while 18 patients died in the hospital. Due to the arrival of more patients, there was chaos in the emergency. Many patients did not get beds. Some were treated on a stretcher and some by lying on the floor.

Doctors say that due to the increase in the heat wave, the number of patients in the emergency of the medical college has increased. The death toll was highest on Saturday night. From 5 in the evening till 1 in the night, there was an influx of patients. A large number of patients came till 5 pm on Sunday. Most of the patients are elderly.

So many people are dying from the heat that we are not getting a minute’s time. Carrying 25-30 dead bodies has worsened the condition.

The Medical College Administration has made preparations in view of heat stroke. A ten-bed ward has been made in the old building, where fans and an AC have been installed, but the ward is closed. Not a single patient has been admitted in it so far.

Due to the scorching heat, the number of patients in emergency has increased. Patients suffering from heat stroke, fever, difficulty in breathing, unconsciousness and other problems are coming. About six-seven deaths are happening everyday. People should avoid sunlight.

In view of the scorching heat, medicines, ORS solution and other essential items have been made available in all CHCs and PHCs. The in-charges have been instructed to call for the places where someone is needed. Need to escape from the heat. Do not leave the house from 12 to 4 in the day. Nine killed in Gorakhpur, 150 patients admitted

Around 150 patients of heat stroke and diarrhea have been admitted in the emergency of the district hospital and medical college in Gorakhpur till 7 pm on Sunday. At the same time, eight people were brought dead in the emergency of the district hospital. A woman died of breathlessness 10 minutes after admission. It is suspected that all of them have died due to heat stroke.

Three more people died in Kushinagar due to heat stroke

Three more people are said to have died of heat stroke in the district. One of them was 70 and the other was 60 years old. The general and child ward of the district hospital is full of patients with fever and vomiting and diarrhoea.

Every day 200 patients of vomiting, diarrhea and high fever are admitted in the district hospital of Basti. However, no case of heat stroke has been reported so far. Treatment is being done according to the symptoms. In the last 24 hours, 31 patients have been admitted in emergency. This includes 24 patients with vomiting and diarrhea while 7 patients with high fever. In-charge SIC Dr. Ram Prakash said that till now there has not been a single case of heatstroke in the district hospital. Nor has there been any death.
