‘Mallika Jaan’s pain over not becoming a mother
Manisha Koirala has seen many ups and downs in her life. The actress had separated from her ex-husband Samrat Dahal in 2012, just after two years of marriage. Recently the actress has expressed her pain at not becoming a mother. During a conversation in an interview, Manisha said, ‘There is something incomplete somewhere in my life. As you grow up, you start accepting the truth about yourself. There are many dreams which you realize will not come true and you come to terms with them.
The actress further said, ‘Not being able to become a mother is also one of them. Having cancer and not being able to become a mother was difficult. But I made peace with it and I said let bygones be bygones and let me do my best with what I have.
‘Would love to be a godmother’
On the option of adopting a child, Manisha said, ‘I thought a lot about adopting a child. I realized that I get upset very easily, I get worried very easily. So after much debate, I settled on the fact that I would like to be a godmother. Let us tell you that Manisha Koirala married Nepali businessman Samrat Dahal on 19 June 2010. This marriage could not last even for 2 years. Shortly after the marriage, discord started between the two.
After the breakdown of her marriage, Manisha Koirala got the second major shock in her life when she came to know that she had cancer. In the year 2012, Manisha came to know that she was suffering from ovarian cancer. After treatment in New York, the actress overcame cancer and by 2014 the actress was cured.
