Hezbollah Attack on Israel Fires 165 Rockets Northern Israel 7 People Wounded Including Child

Israel Hezbollah Conflict: On Monday (November 11), Hezbollah launched a massive attack on northern Israel. It fired more than 165 rockets in rapid succession, injuring seven people including a child. Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Saar indicated “definite progress” in ceasefire talks with Lebanon.

In one of the most serious attacks, a 27-year-old woman suffered minor injuries from shrapnel in the northern Arab town of Bina, while a 35-year-old man and a one-year-old girl were in good condition. According to the Times of Israel, paramedics confirmed that all three were taken to the Galilee Medical Center in Nahariya.

Hezbollah took responsibility for the attack

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) reported that approximately 50 rockets were fired at Galilee, some of which were intercepted by air defense systems. However, many rockets were successful in targeting the Karmeel area and surrounding towns. Hezbollah claimed responsibility, saying they had targeted “a training base for the paratroopers brigade in the Karmeel settlement”.

Shortly thereafter, the IDF announced the interception of a drone launched from Lebanon over the northern kibbutz of Malakia. Earlier in the day, another drone from Lebanon crashed near the town of Liman in western Galilee, causing a bushfire.

Israel claims- most of the rockets were stopped

This was one of the largest attacks ever on Haifa, in which Hezbollah fired approximately 90 rockets in two consecutive attacks. During the first attacks, 80 rockets were fired, the IDF said most were intercepted, but many targeted residential areas. According to the Times of Israel report, the second wave of 10 rockets were either intercepted or fell in open areas.
