Himachal Pradesh Election Result 2022: The Congress may have wrested power from the BJP in Himachal Pradesh by winning 40 out of 68 seats, but the party won 15 seats with a margin of less than 2,000 votes. In Bhoranj, Sujanpur, Darang, Bilaspur, Shri Naina Devi, Rampur, Shillai and Shri Renukaji, the difference between the two parties was less than 1,000 votes.

The difference between the candidates of the two parties was only 1,000 to 2,000 votes in Bhattiyat, Balh, Una, Jaswan Paragpur, Lahaul Spiti, Sarkaghat and Nahan. State Chief Minister Jairam Thakur won from Siraj in Mandi district by a margin of 38,183 votes, while BJP candidate Pawan Kajal won from Kangra by a margin of 19,834 votes.

Mohan Lal Brakta won from Rohru reserved seat with a margin of 19,339 votes. Thakur’s victory margin is the highest in the state. Suresh Kumar of Congress has won from Bhoranj seat by just 60 votes, which is the lowest margin of victory. After this, BJP candidate Randhir Sharma won from Shri Naina Devi by 171 votes and BJP candidate Trilok Jamwal from Bilaspur by 276 votes. Congress and BJP got 40 and 25 seats respectively, but the difference in vote percentage was just 0.90 per cent.
