Hindi News How Many Muslims Are There In BSF ITBP And CRPF The Government Gave This Answer

People of different castes and religions live in our country. Who work at different places. In some places, reservation is given according to castes and religions, but this is not possible in every work. Whereas when it comes to the country’s army, I have only respect for them. At that time it is not thought about how many soldiers in the army come from which caste and religion. However, in 2018, Lok Sabha MP Asaduddin Owaisi had raised a question regarding this in the Lok Sabha.

This information is available in the answer given in the Lok Sabha in 2021. The Home Ministry has given information about the recruitment in the Central Armed Police Force (CAPF).

How many Muslims are there in BSF, ITBP and CRPF?
When a question was asked in the Lok Sabha about minorities in BSF, ITBP and CRPF, the reply given by the Home Ministry said that religion is not a criterion in merit-based selection. From B to D, recruitment in the armed forces is based on merit and is equally open to all.

The reply further said that every citizen of the country has the right to join the army without discrimination on the basis of caste, creed, tribe or any other basis. The only condition in this is that the candidate fulfills the prescribed age, physical, medical and educational criteria. Apart from this, in this answer it was also said that candidates will be selected under “Agneepath Yojana”.

What did Owaisi say?
In 2018, MP Asaduddin Owaisi had said that a media report had claimed that there is not a single Muslim in the National Security Guards (NSG). When a media person said that recruitment in the Central Armed Police Forces is based on merit. At that time Owaisi had said that pluralism is the identity of the country which should be visible everywhere.

At the same time, he had also raised the question that the NDA government has not done anything concrete to provide employment to Muslims in the central government undertakings. CRPF, CISF, ITBP, public sector banks, all these are under the central government. I request the Government of India to please present the figures.
