‘Hindu society should get control of temples’, VHP demands amid Tirupati Laddu Prasadam controversy

Tirupati Laddu Prasadam Controversy: The issue of mixing animal fat in the prasad laddu of Tirupati temple is gaining momentum. Many political parties have expressed anger on this issue. Meanwhile, Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) has made a big demand on Friday (September 20).

VHP has said that the alleged use of animal fat in Tirupati temple’s laddu is intolerable. VHP has demanded that the Andhra Pradesh government hand over the control and management of the temple to the Hindu community.

Vishwa Hindu Parishad raised this demand

VHP’s international general secretary Bajrang Bagda also demanded that all temples and other Hindu shrines across the country be freed from government control. He demanded legal action against those allegedly involved in desecrating Tirupati temple prasad. “The Tirupati incident further strengthens Vishwa Hindu Parishad’s belief that government control over temples leads to the entry of politics. Such defilement of prasad is done deliberately due to the appointment of non-Hindu officials there (in government-controlled temples).”

Bajrang Bagda said that VHP has been demanding for a long time that Hindu temples and other religious places should not be under government control. He termed the alleged use of animal fat in Tirupati Laddu Prasadam as an intolerable and disgusting act and said that the entire Hindu society is distressed and hurt by this. Bajrang Bagda said that Hindu society will not tolerate such repeated attacks on its faith.

This matter will be considered seriously

Bajrang Bagda said, “We are confident that the Andhra Pradesh government and the central government will consider this issue seriously considering its seriousness.” He demanded a fair investigation into the Tirupati Laddu sacrilege case and legal action against those involved in it.

Vinod Bansal also gave a big statement

VHP national spokesperson Vinod Bansal also demanded that the Tirupati temple and all other temples across the country be freed from government control. “It is not just the Tirupati temple that is under government control. More than four lakh temples in states across the country are under government control,” he said. When asked to comment on the issue, he told PTI, “Our stand on this issue is clear that governments should hand over temples and their properties to Hindu society. The real trustees of temples are Hindus, not governments.” Bansal said the VHP would soon launch a major campaign against government control over Hindu temples and other religious places.
