Hiroshima atomic bomb What was the temperature after the bomb fell on Hiroshima

6 August 1945, the world can never forget this date. On this day the world saw how cruel a man can be if he has power. Actually, on this very date America had attacked Hiroshima, Japan with an atomic bomb. This bomb was so powerful that even the ashes of the bones of those who were hit by it could not survive. Everything seemed to have vanished. Let us tell you about it in detail.

Black day for Japan

According to a BBC report, it was 7 am on August 6, 1945. Suddenly, American planes were seen coming from the south on Japanese radars. Warning sirens started ringing as these planes were seen coming towards the city. Radio programmes running all over Japan were stopped. But the situation in Japan had become so bad that the planes it had did not even have enough petrol to fly and try to stop these American planes. In a short while, these planes were over Hiroshima. What happened after this, the plight of this city is a testimony to this even today.

Blue-White Atom Bomb ‘Little Boy’

Two American planes were flying over Hiroshima. One of them, the B-29 ‘Enola Gay’, was being flown by US Air Force Colonel Paul Tibbets himself. At 8:09, Tibbets said on the intercom, ‘Put on your goggles and keep them on your forehead. As soon as the countdown starts, put them on your eyes and keep them on until you see a tremendous light below.’

In a few minutes, the time came when devastation was about to befall Hiroshima. At 8:13, Colonel Tibbets’ message was heard on the headphone of ‘Enola Gay’s’ bombardier Major Thomas Ferebee, ‘It is all yours.’ After this, he said on the intercom, ‘Put on your goggles.’

It was now 8:15. Bombardier Major Thomas Ferebee dropped ‘Little Boy’ from the nose of ‘Enola Gay’ over Hiroshima. Exactly 43 seconds later, this bomb hit the ground of Hiroshima and exploded as if a huge meteorite had hit the earth.

Even the ashes of the bones are not left

The target of the atomic bomb Little Boy was Hiroshima’s Aoi Bridge. But due to strong winds, this bomb fell on Shima Surgical Clinic, 250 meters away from the bridge. It is said that when this bomb exploded, the temperature there suddenly reached 1 million centigrade. This temperature was so high that the ashes of the bones of the people who came under its grip were not even left. In a moment, this bomb threw 80 thousand people into the fire of death. That day, 30 percent of Hiroshima’s population was wiped out in one stroke.
