How was the song ‘Rang Barse’ composed?
He had revealed that when there used to be a grand Holi party in RK Studios, all the stars of the film industry used to attend this party. During this time, these artists also presented their talent. Once the Shahenshah of Bollywood i.e. Amitabh Bachchan also attended Raj Kapoor’s famous Holi party. At that time Amitabh’s career graph was going very bad, 9 of his films had flopped. At the party, Raj Kapoor told Amitabh, “Today, show some of your talent and create a blast.” On this, Amitabh played the song Rang Barse, which he had heard from his father since childhood, in the party and then what was the magic of Amitabh’s voice, it worked on Yash Chopra. . After this, Yash Chopra cast Amitabh in ‘Silsila’ and got the lyrics of ‘Rang Barse’ written by the actor’s father Harivansh Rai. After this, Amitabh sang this iconic song in his own voice in the film. The film was a flop but this song became immortal.

‘Rang Barse’ song is based on Meera’s bhajan
Let us tell you that the song Rang Barse was based on a traditional bhajan of Meera in Real. Even though the lyrics were by poet Harivansh Rai Bachchan and the song was composed by Shiv-Hari. But the original bhajan, “Rang Barse O Meera, Bhavan Mein Rang Barse / Kun e Meera Tero Mandir Chinayo, Kun Chinayo Tero Devro / Rang Barse O Meera Bhawan Me Rang Barse.” In the film Thasilsila, this song was changed to fit the script. But the bhajan remained popular among people from generation to generation.
