In Etah’s Jasrathpur police station area, a teenager was kidnapped by a home guard along with his wife and sister-in-law. They demanded a ransom of Rs 20 lakh from his family. The police deployed three teams. The teams recovered the teenager safely and arrested 5 accused including a home guard and three women.
Home Guard Jaichandra posted at Jaithra police station was posted at Jasrathpur police station a few days ago. He got acquainted with Asfaq Hussain, a resident of Nadarala village in the area, and started visiting his house. Asfaq has two sons, Soeb and Zoeb. They have land worth crores along the main road. This led to the home guard’s intentions being shaken. Through his wife and sisters-in-law, he enticed Zoeb (16) with sweet talk. On Tuesday noon around 12 noon, Zoeb went to get petrol from the pump located at Bhanau Ghat. When he did not return home after a long time, the family searched for him but could not find him anywhere.
In the evening, Zoheb called and told that two girls from near the pump asked him to drop them at Fardpura and threatened him by showing a gun and knife. During the conversation, the girls snatched Zoheb’s phone and said that Zoheb is in our clutches. Right now we have come to Aligarh with him. If you want to see him alive, then come to Aligarh with 20 lakh rupees.
After this, Zoyeb informed the police and taking it seriously, the SSP formed three teams. When the surveillance team traced the teenager’s mobile number, his location was found to be in Jaithra. All the teams recovered Zoyeb safely from the house of accused Jaichandra at around 8:30 pm on Wednesday. Homeguard Jaichandra, his wife Preeti, sister-in-law Jyoti, Rajni and another accomplice Devendra Pandey were arrested. While the sixth accused Deepak escaped after getting the opportunity. Three mobiles, a rope and a bike have been recovered from the arrested accused. IG Aligarh Range Shalabh Mathur has announced a reward of Rs 50,000 to the teams.
