Four women died in a horrific road accident in Bhogaon, Mainpuri on Saturday morning, while 24 people were reported injured. It is reported that the truck hit a tractor-trolley parked on the roadside. Women and men were traveling in the trolley which reached Naamkaran No. The police sent all the injured to the hospital for treatment.
The daughter of Virendra Singh, a resident of Kunwarpur village located in Chhibramau police station area of Kannauj, is married in Beldhara village of Bichhwa police station. His daughter had given birth to a son 10 days ago. His naming ceremony was on Friday. Virendra Singh had gone to village Beldhara with his relatives in a tractor trolley. At around 4.30 am on Saturday morning, everyone was returning home sitting in a tractor trolley. The tractor light broke down near Dwarkapur in Bhogaon area.
The driver parked the tractor on the roadside and started repairing the light. Then the truck coming from behind hit the trolley. Due to which the trolley overturned. Phoolmati’s wife Awadhesh, Ramakanti’s wife Dafedar and Sanjay Devi’s wife Rajesh who were sitting in the trolley died on the spot. While 25 people were injured. Police reached the spot and took the injured to the hospital where Draupadi Devi’s wife Vishun Dayal Dayal died. All the deceased and injured are residents of village Kunwarpur Chhibramau.
