The body of a young girl has been found in her house in Gaya. The girl has been murdered by slitting her throat. The incident took place in Baniyadih village of Sherghati police station area. The villagers informed the local police about the incident. As soon as the information of the incident was received, the police reached the spot and recovered the body of the girl and sent it to Anugrah Narayan Magadh Medical College and Hospital for post-mortem. The deceased has been identified as Pooja Kumari (20), daughter of Narayan Chaudhary, a resident of Baniyadih village. She was a student of Project Kanya Inter College of Sherghati.
Fear of horror killing
As soon as the information of the incident was received, the police reached the spot and started investigation. Dog squad was also called for investigation. During the investigation, the police recovered sharp weapons from the house of the deceased. Also, some washed clothes have been recovered, which have blood stains on them. On the basis of the recovered evidence, the possibility of this incident being a horror killing cannot be ruled out. Regarding the matter, the deceased Pooja’s father Narayan Chaudhary has expressed suspicion of his daughter’s murder on the Gotiya. He says that his daughter has been murdered due to old enmity.
Know what the parents of the deceased are saying
Regarding the incident, the deceased’s father Narayan Chaudhary says that he slept outside the house on Monday night. On Tuesday morning he came to know that his daughter had been murdered by slitting her throat. The deceased’s mother Muniya Devi says that when she went to her daughter’s room at around 5 am on Tuesday morning, she saw that her daughter’s throat was slit and she was lying on the floor.
Sharp weapons and blood stained clothes recovered
Regarding the incident, SHO Ajit Kumar said that during the investigation, the police recovered a sharp weapon from the house. Which has blood stains on it. Some washed clothes have also been recovered, which have blood stains on them. It seems that the clothes were washed in a hurry in the morning. When the police asked the girl’s younger brother, who was sleeping with her, about the incident, he said that he had no information about the incident.
FSL team reached the spot
Regarding the incident, SSP Ashish Bharti says that taking this case very seriously, a special team has been formed under the leadership of Sherghati SDPO. The said team includes Sherghati SHO, other police officers of Sherghati police station and officers and personnel of armed forces and technical branch, Gaya. Along with this, dog squad and FSL team were also sent to inspect the spot. SSP Ashish Bharti said that technical investigation is being done by the formed team to arrest the criminals involved in the case. Soon the accused involved in this case will be arrested.
