How European Space Agency ESA Supporting India Solar Mission Aditya L1 Of ISRO

“We are supporting the Aditya-L1 mission from all three of our 35-metre Deep Space Antennas in Australia, Spain and Argentina,” said Ramesh Chellathurai, ISRO’s ESA service manager and cross-support liaison officer. We are also providing support from our Kourou station in French Guiana and coordinated support from the Gonheili Earth Station in the UK.

ESA emphasizes the importance of communications in space missions. According to ESA, without the support of ground stations it would be impossible to obtain scientific data, ensure the safety of the spacecraft and determine its whereabouts.
