Facebook Privacy for Children: Facebook is used by millions of users across the world on a daily basis. The great thing is that users from every section of society use it. According to reports, nowadays even children have started spending more and more time on this social networking site. If your children are also spending time on Facebook, then you can easily check how much time your children are spending on this site.
To monitor your child’s time on Facebook, you and your child must have already set up supervision. If supervision is set up, you can go to Family Center to see how much time your child has spent on the Facebook app over the past 7 days. Note that to use supervision, you must have the latest version of the Messenger app for iPhone and Android. Your child must have the latest version of the Facebook app. Parents can update their child’s Facebook app or update the app by visiting Facebook.com on a desktop or mobile browser. If some supervision features are not working properly, update your Facebook app.
follow these steps
1. First go to familycenter.facebook.com/dashboard and log in to your account.
2. Under Accounts, click your child’s account.
3. After this you can see how much average time your child has spent on Facebook daily in the last 7 days.
4. By clicking on the bar graph you can also see how much time your child has spent on Facebook each day.
5. If the Facebook app is used on more than one device, you’ll see the total time spent on the app across all devices combined.
6. You can set limits on how much time your child spends on Facebook by turning on ‘Scheduled Breaks’.
You can also schedule a break, you will not be able to use Facebook
1. Your child won’t be able to use the Facebook app during a Scheduled Break.
2. To set up Scheduled Breaks, go to familycenter.facebook.com/dashboard and click your child’s account.
3. Click Manage timeframes.
4. Click the toggle on to turn on Scheduled Breaks.
5. To set a specific day and time for the scheduled break, click Edit, and then click Set.
