The journey to Adi Kailash and Om Parvat has started in Uttarakhand. Adi Kailash is said to be the home of Lord Shiva. According to mythological Hindu texts, Adi Kailash is considered one of the Panch Kailash. That is why its journey has great importance. To register for Adi Kailash Yatra, you have to fill the application through Kumaon Mandal Development Corporation.
First of all you have to fill the form for the journey. Along with that, you have to submit Police Verification Certificate and Notified Area Permit, Medical Clearance Certificate and Indemnity Bond along with the fixed amount of the journey. You have to fill this form on two sides.

Medically unfit people cannot go
The journey to Adi Kailash and Om Parvat is a journey of high altitude. Therefore, it is mandatory for the devotees going on this yatra to be medically fit. For this, medical clearance certificate also has to be submitted. If someone has any kind of disease or is afraid of going to heights. So those people cannot take part in this journey.
