The way to reach Kailash Mansarovar

Let us tell you that till Mount Kailash There are three ways to go. One route passes through Pithoragarh in Uttarakhand, India. There are more difficulties in this route, because this route is mostly walking and trekking. Let us tell you that the Government of India sends people through this route. Apart from this, the second way is a little easier. In this, one has to go directly from Nepal’s capital Kathmandu to Kailash by road. The Nepal government opens this route for devotees only from June to September. Apart from this, there is also a third way, which is very easy but the most expensive. This is an air journey, in which one goes from Nepalgunj in Nepal via Simikot and Hilsa to Taklakot via helicopter. The further journey is by car.

Ministry of External Affairs

This journey is organized by the Ministry of External Affairs. Every year, the government sends a group of 60 pilgrims in 16 batches between 29 May and 26 September for the Kailash Mansarovar Yatra. The journey duration of each batch is 28 days. During this period, a passenger is allowed to carry up to 25 kg of luggage. Which can contain 5 kg of food items. The age of Indian citizens eligible to visit Kailash Mansarovar should be between 18 years to 70 years. Considering the difficulties of the journey, only physically fit and healthy people are allowed to go.

< p>According to the official website of Kailash Mansarovar, only Indian citizens can travel from India. In such a situation, every passenger must have an Indian passport with a remaining validity period of at least 6 months as on 01 September of that year at the time of travel. Apart from this, the age should be less than 70 years. Whereas foreign citizens are not eligible to apply. The body mass index (BMI) of the person going on a trip should be 25 or less. Apart from this, it is also important to be medically fit.
