Ingredients to make Nachni Roti
Ragi flour – 1/2 cup
Wheat flour – 2 tbsp
Rice flour – 1/2 cup
Carrot grated – 2 tbsp
Onion finely chopped – 2 tbsp
Grated ginger – 1/4 tsp
Green chili chopped – 1 tsp
Green coriander chopped – 2 tbsp
Cumin – 1 tsp
Curry leaves – 7-8
oil – as needed
salt – as per taste

Nachni Roti Recipe
To make Nachni Roti, first add ragi flour, wheat flour and rice flour in a deep bottomed vessel and mix all three well. After this, cut finely pieces of onion, green chillies and green coriander leaves and add them to the flour and mix them. Now add grated carrot and ginger and add salt as per taste and mix all the ingredients well.

Now add curry leaves to the flour and knead the dough by adding water little by little. Keep in mind that the dough is to knead soft. After this, make balls of equal proportion of the flour and keep them. Now take a nonstick pan/griddle and keep it on medium flame for heating. Meanwhile, take a ball and roll it. When the griddle becomes hot, put some oil in it and spread it all around.

Now put the rolled Nachni roti on the pan and roast it. After roasting for some time, flip the roti and apply some oil on it. Roast the roti from the other side till it becomes golden and crispy from both the sides. After this take out the roti in a plate. Similarly, prepare Nachni roti by rolling all the balls. Serve the flavourful Nachni Roti with vegetable or raita.
