Method of making kheer-

Material-
Rice- 100 grams
Milk- 2 liters
Sugar- 100 grams
Ghee- 1 tablespoon

Method of preparation-
-To make kheer, first wash the rice thoroughly 3 to 4 times and keep it in a strainer. By doing this its water will drain out.

-Now place one spoon of ghee in a pan and when it melts, add washed rice to it and fry it while stirring for 2 to 3 minutes.

-Put two liters of milk in another vessel and boil it. When it boils, add 1 cup water to it and when it boils, add roasted rice to it.

-Now reduce the flame and cover it and leave it to boil for about 5 to 6 minutes. Keep stirring it with a spoon in between so that the kheer does not burn from below.

-After some time, when the rice starts cooking, add sugar to it. After some time the kheer will start thickening. You can add cardamom seeds or dry fruits as per taste. In this way the kheer is ready.
