Meta Business Verification Process: Verification is not required for every business. But if you want to get Meta technology or developer feature then you will have to verify your business. But before that, know when business verification is necessary for you.
According to Meta, you can start the verification process only if your business portfolio is eligible for verification. If you don’t see the Verification button in the Security Center, but you’re required to verify your business, confirm that the product or feature you’re trying to access requires business verification. If you received a notification or email asking you to verify your business, you can view it for instructions on how to start verification. You must have complete control of your business portfolio.
- How to verify your business
First of all go to the Security Center of the Business Manager. After this click on Start Verification. You may get a notification to start verification on other platforms like Meta Ads Manager, Commerce Manager, and the App Developer Dashboard. Provide business information like legal name of your business, address, mobile number and website.
- Make sure that the information you submit exactly matches the information about your legal business entity. Also see that your business’s website loads and is HTTPS compliant. After this confirm your business information.
- If the records do not match, upload acceptable documents such as business license, business incorporation documents/certificates to confirm the information you have provided. Choose a way to confirm your connection.
- If you choose email, mobile, SMS or WhatsApp, a confirmation code will be sent. Follow these steps to confirm through domain verification.
- Once verification is submitted, a decision may take between 10 minutes to 14 working days. You will be sent a notification once the review is complete. If you get confirmation that your business has been verified, you don’t have to do anything further.
- You can edit your business information at any time. But for any change, you will have to complete the business verification process again.
