Bollywood actor Hrithik Roshan is enjoying the success of his film Fighter. Fighter is making great collections at the box office. The film has entered the Rs 100 crore club and is now ready to enter the Rs 150 crore club soon. Deepika Padukone is seen in the lead role with Hrithik in the film. Hrithik and Deepika have done tremendous action. Hrithik has been in the industry for 24 years and now he has talked about the box office collection. Hrithik recently said that numbers make a difference.
In a special conversation with Pinkvilla, Hrithik said that the biggest validation comes from the box office numbers. Earlier I was a little shy to talk about this but it is the truth. The biggest validation is the box office numbers especially when you make a film to entertain the audience and the numbers it brings.
People’s feedback matters
Hrithik further said- The people I love, I hope that they like my work. If I praise them then there is a perspective that they must be looking at my work and if I am satisfied with that perspective then I rise a little higher in my own eyes because I see myself from their perspective. The reaction of my sons, family and partner is very important.
Box office numbers don’t always matter
Hrithik said that he does not do films just for numbers. Their performance gives them achievement. I had done a film named Vikram Vedha. Which flopped at the box office. It was a flop but my work was appreciated, so it gave me strength. I think my mission is growth, not box office. If that part of me is feeling satisfied and people are saying ‘we saw something new, you did something new’, then I feel I am growing.
