Aer Lingus flight number EI738 took off from Dublin at around 7:15 pm. About an hour after the flight, the crew announced that an emergency had come up. Actually, this emergency was a fight between a couple. The crew tried to convince them and calm the situation but they did not listen and instead started beating each other. When things started getting out of hand, the pilot informed the control room about it and the flight was made to make an emergency landing at Nantes Airport.

The woman also suffered injuries on her face during the fight, due to which her partner was arrested after the flight landed. The footage of this incident is going viral on social media. Eventually, after a delay of two hours, the flight was flown back and reached the destination i.e. Palma De Mallorca Airport at 1:05 am late night.
