Dinesh told Local18, “The specialty of father Parshuram’s samosas is freshness, spicy taste and home-made spices.” Taking forward his father’s tradition, he is also doing some different experiments in the season. He told that along with the normal pea samosas, he is also making chilli pea samosas. His father also used to give unlimited gravy and spicy masala on the demand of customers, which was a big specialty of this samosa.
People come from far and wide to eat matar samosa
Dinesh tells that people come to his shop from Basti, Harraiya, Kaptanganj, Babhnan, Bhanpur and Gonda to eat Matar Samosa. There are some people who come to Gaur for some work, but do not go back without eating Matar Samosa, no matter how crowded it is.

400-500 plates are sold daily
Dinesh says that 400-500 plates of samosas are sold every day at his shop. The cost of one plate is ₹20. In this way they get a profit of Rs 8-10 thousand per day. This income increases by one and a half times during the season months.
IAS and IPS officers also enjoy the taste
Dinesh says that some senior officials and employees still come to eat matar samosa and share their old memories. Recently an IPS officer, who is a resident of Pachavas village, came to the shop and told that when he was studying in Gaur Degree College, he used to have lunch at this Matar Samosa shop.
