failed in first attempt
Sonal said that she shared this post on 21st February. In this, along with sharing his marksheet, he also shared his experiences of the days of struggle. Sonal told how she had failed in her first attempt. He gave his first attempt in 2007. In this she failed. In the very next year i.e. 2008, Sonal cracked the UPSC exam.
got less marks
Sonal further writes that due to low marks in General Studies paper in the first attempt, she did not get the interview call. However, she did not get disappointed by this and started trying with double the enthusiasm. After this he devoted his entire life to preparing the General Studies paper.
study with job
Sonal’s journey is also inspiring in that she prepared for UPSC along with job and studies. At that time, she was doing LLB from Delhi University and was also working part time as a CS. Along with all this, his UPSC preparation was going on.
Conquered the field in the second attempt
Sonal not only passed the exam in the second attempt but also got the highest marks in the same subject in the second attempt in which she had failed in the first attempt. He had more marks in GS than in his optional commerce and public administration.
