The success story of Anu Kumari, a resident of Sonipat, Haryana, is quite interesting. She did her post graduation in Physics from Delhi University, after which she completed her MBA. She started working in Mumbai-based ICIC Bank. She got married in the year 2012 and started living in Gurugram. To clear the UPSC exam, she worked hard and stayed away from her child for two years. She did not succeed in her first attempt but she did not lose courage. In the year 2017, she became IAS by getting second position in the country.

Anu’s friends used to encourage her to appear for the Civil Services Examination from the time of school. To fix the financial condition of the family, Anu first did a job, then she left the job and started preparing for the Civil Services Examination. For this, she worked hard, being married, Anu’s in-laws also supported her fully. Everyone was very happy after the daughter-in-law became IAS. By becoming an IAS officer, Anu Kumari has proved that if there is determination and passion to achieve any destination in the mind, then the destination is not impossible.
