IBPS SO Recruitment 2024 Registration Underway: The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection has announced recruitment for the post of Specialist Officer. Registration has started from 1st August and the last date to apply is 21 August 2024 Through this recruitment process, eligible candidates will be appointed on many posts like Agriculture Field Officer, Marketing Officer, IT Officer, Law Officer, Rajbhasha Adhikari. How many posts will be filled
A total of 896 posts will be filled through this recruitment drive. These vacancies have come out under CRP SPL – XI 2025-26. Candidates will be recruited for Specialist Officer posts through this Common Recruitment Process. A total of 11 banks will participate in this recruitment process, i.e. the selected candidates will get jobs in these banks.
How will the selection be done
The selection of candidates for these posts will be done after several stages of examination. Firstly, the prelims exam will be conducted, then the mains and finally the interview will be taken. Only after passing the first stage of examination, one will get a chance to appear in the second stage examination. The exam dates have been released.

The notice for these posts was issued on 31 July, registrations are going on from 1 August and the last date to apply is 21 August. Pre exam date 9 November 2024 The main exam is being organized there. 14 December 2024 It will be on the day of. After this, interviews will be conducted. Those who pass the prelims will give the mains and those who pass the mains will appear for the interview.
How much will the fee be
To apply for these posts, general category candidates will have to pay a fee of Rs 850. Whereas for SC, ST, PBS candidates the fee is Rs 175. GST is included in this amount.
Who can apply
The eligibility to apply varies according to the post. For example, candidates with a four-year engineering degree can apply for the post of IT Officer. Whereas, candidates with a Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture can apply for the post of Agriculture Field Officer. Similarly, eligibility has been fixed for all other posts. Broadly, candidates who have graduated in the relevant subject can apply.
The age limit has been fixed between 20 and 30 years. Reserved categories will get age relaxation as per government rules. Apart from this, you can check eligibility related information from the notice given above.
How much salary will you get
On being selected for these posts, the net salary is around 55 thousand to 60 thousand rupees per month. Apart from this, candidates also get many facilities.
