ICC Cricket World Cup 2023: In the World Cup today i.e. on Tuesday, two matches will be played between a total of 4 teams. The first match will be played between England and Bangladesh at HPCA i.e. Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association in Dharamshala. In this match, Bangladesh won the toss and decided to bowl first. This means that England’s fearless batting is going to be tested once again.
After winning the toss, Shakib Al Hasan said, “We will bowl first. Today it is a little cooler than the previous days. Hopefully our pacers will get some help from this pitch. We have made a change in our team. In the last match, we did not get the start we wanted, but we have confidence in our team. We want to perform like the last match in this match too, but this is a different match and different mindset, but we have to do as much as we can. “We have to remain as calm as we can. They (England) are world champions, and we have to be at our best to beat them.”
After Shakib, Jos Buttler also said, “We also wanted to bowl first. There is a change in our team. Reece Topley has joined the team in place of Moeen Ali. It (the first match) was a bad day. We “Didn’t perform well. Now we have practiced well in the last few days, and are looking to perform well in this match. We want to make a good comeback in this match.”
Playing eleven of both the teams
Both these teams have played one match each in this World Cup so far. England had to suffer a bad defeat at the hands of New Zealand in their first match. At the same time, Bangladesh team had easily defeated Afghanistan in its first match at the same ground, Dharamshala. In such a situation, the England team would like to start winning through this match, while Bangladesh would try to maintain its winning streak.
