Sam Konstas Salary: Australia’s 19-year-old player Sam Constas came into limelight during the Border-Gavaskar Trophy. He made his international cricket debut in the Melbourne Test. Amidst his increasing popularity and growing stature in world cricket, there is speculation about an increase in Sam Constance’s salary. According to Inside Sport, if Constas is selected for the 2-match Test series against Sri Lanka, he can get a bonus of around Rs 1.87 crore. Meanwhile, after playing the third Test match of his career, Constance will be eligible to get a central contract by the Australian Cricket Board (CA). On getting the central contract, Constus’ annual salary will be around Rs 2.88 crore.
Sam Constance was making waves in the Big Bash League before making his debut against India in the Border-Gavaskar Trophy. He was playing for Sydney Thunder in BBL and in the very first match of the season, he played a stormy inning of 56 runs in just 27 balls. In this innings he hit 8 fours and 2 sixes. Meanwhile, he also became the player to score the fastest fifty for Sydney Thunder in the history of Big Bash League. He completed his half-century in just 20 balls against Adelaide Strikers. Constas scored 60 runs in the first match, but after that he could not do anything special in the 3 innings. He scored 113 runs in 2 matches of Border-Gavaskar Trophy.
