While talking to Local 18, shopkeeper Rahul Porwal, who runs a shop named Dhokla House on Kotla Road in Firozabad, said that Dhokla is prepared in different ways at his place. Plain Dhokla Sandwich, Dhokla, Khandvi Dhokla, Paneer Dhokla etc. are prepared at his shop. He told that he prepares Khandvi Dhokla with curd in a pan and Sandwich Dhokla is prepared with a machine. In which apart from sauce, other spices are also added. He said that the Dhokla of his place is famous far and wide and it is prepared in a very pure manner.
Dhokla starts from Rs 240
The shopkeeper told that four to five types of Dhokla are available at his place, the price of which ranges from Rs 240 to Rs 320 per kg. He said that apart from the local people, people from Shikohabad, Sirsaganj Tundla, Agra, Mainpuri and Aligarh come to his place to eat Dhokla and also get it packed. The specialty of their Dhokla is its purity and quality which people like very much. One who eats Dhokla House’s Dhokla once, definitely comes back again.
