Prashant, the owner of a shop named Pandit Kanhaiya Lal, told that more than 35 types of parathas are made in his shop and all these parathas are made with desi ghee. He said that most people come to this shop to eat Parathas with pulses. Apart from this, Bhole, the owner of a shop named Pandit Gaya Prasad, said that this shop is the oldest and many parathas are most famous here. He said that people queue up since morning to eat parathas with almonds and parathas with raisins. More than 50 types of parathas are available to eat at this shop. Parathas here start from Rs 90, which goes up to around Rs 300.
from ahmedabad to mumbai
Akshat Jain, who keeps coming to Delhi from Mumbai, said that he comes to Delhi as often as possible. Then definitely go to Paratha street to eat Parathas. A person named Arvind told that he comes to Delhi from Ahmedabad about once in 6 months and eats parathas from Paratha Street. The Paneer Parathas available here are very much liked.
How to reach here
If you want to come here to eat parathas, you can go anytime from 10 am to 10 pm. To reach here, one has to get down at Chandni Chowk metro station from the Yellow Metro Line. Where as soon as you come out of Gate No. 1, you will find Parantha Street towards Chandni Chowk.
